This Privacy Policy explains how Yue2Song ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use https://yue2song.com and our AI lyrics-to-song tools (the "Services").

By using Yue2Song, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Registration details: Name, email address, password (stored hashed), sign-in provider details (for example Google) and account preferences.
  • Support communications: Messages, attachments and related metadata when you contact us.

Billing Information

  • Payment records: Plan type, subscription status, credit purchases, transaction IDs, invoices, refund status and payment history.
  • Card details: Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number or payment credentials.

Content You Provide or Generate

  • Inputs: Lyrics, song titles, style descriptions, vocal and instrumental settings, and the one-line ideas you give the "Write lyrics for me" helper.
  • Outputs: Generated songs (audio files), AI-written lyrics and related metadata such as generation time and status.

Usage and Device Information

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, generation requests, credits used, downloads and interaction events.
  • Device data: IP address, approximate country, browser type, device type, operating system, language settings, referring pages and log data.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: Used for sign-in, preferences, analytics, fraud prevention and performance. See our Cookie Policy.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the Services: generate songs and lyrics, store your results in your history, manage your account, credits and subscriptions, and process payments and refunds.
  • To support you: answer questions and investigate failed generations or billing issues.
  • To improve the Services: understand which features are used, fix bugs and monitor reliability.
  • To communicate with you: send account, security and billing notices, and product emails only where permitted by law and your preferences.
  • To protect Yue2Song and our users: detect and prevent fraud, abuse of free credits, policy violations and unauthorized access, and meet legal obligations.

AI Processing

To generate a song, we send your lyrics, title, style description and vocal settings to our AI provider, which runs the Suno V6 music model on our behalf. To draft lyrics, we send your one-line idea to a text AI provider. These providers receive only what is needed to produce the result you asked for.

Generated audio is copied to our own storage so that you can play and download it later. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your lyrics or songs in public marketing without your permission.

Service Providers We Use

We share information with service providers that process it on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare: website hosting, content delivery, security and file storage for generated songs.
  • Stripe: payment processing, subscriptions and invoices.
  • Google: sign-in with Google, and advertising measurement when you arrive from a Google ad.
  • PostHog: product analytics, such as which pages and features are used.
  • AI providers: music and lyric generation, as described above.
  • Database and email providers: storing account data and sending account and support emails.

We may also share information with courts, regulators or law enforcement when required by law, with a buyer or successor in a merger or sale of assets, or with anyone else at your direction.

Data Retention

  • Account data: kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion where needed for security, legal, billing or dispute purposes.
  • Songs and lyrics: kept in your history while your account is active, unless you ask us to delete them.
  • Billing records: kept as required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention and legal compliance.
  • Logs and analytics: kept for a limited period for security, debugging and product improvement.

You can ask us to delete your account or personal data at support@yue2song.com. Some information may be kept where the law requires it or where it is needed to resolve disputes.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Keep your login details confidential and tell us if you think your account has been compromised.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of marketing emails. To exercise these rights, email support@yue2song.com. We may need to verify your identity first.

Children's Privacy

Yue2Song is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Yue2Song links to third-party websites, such as the YuE2 project pages on GitHub and Hugging Face. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
